The yellowfin tuna and dorado are often found together around kelp paddies during the summer off of the coast of Southern California and Mexico. When these beautiful and colorful fish are in a frenzy and chasing bait it can be some of the most exciting fishing there is. I wanted to capture that excitement as these voracious predators chase bait through the water column.
